#UShealthcare sucks. We need #singlepayer now. I just got a call from the local healthcare monopoly to let me know I am overdue for my follow up to a follow up of last year's annual mammogram. First one is fully covered by insurance, after that you're on your own. I told the person, yes I am overdue because the mammo and I biopsy I did in follow up to my annual cost me $1500, and nothing was found other than normal calcification. I'm not made of fucking money. I will live on this earth for as long as I can, but I refuse to bankrupt myself over this shit. I know this is dark, but it's not worth it if I can't enjoy my life after I spend everything I have to save it.
