Minecraft's devs exit subreddit after Reddit's ham-fisted crackdown on protest
The Minecraft subreddit won't be a source for official Mojang communications going forward due to spez's idiocy and the API changes.

Sam_uk, So how do we get them on https://kbin.social/m/minecraft
UnhappyCamper, They said you could reach them on Discord, so I suppose a person could ask them to come over from there
LollerCorleone, Did Reddit really think they can force other companies to use their platform?
OpenStars, Um... yes? Spez basically said that there's nowhere else for them to go. He was wrong, but that's what his answer was.
slicedcheesegremlin, Spez: where can other companies go, lol good luck finding a platform other than Reddit
Microsoft: makes their own forum
Spez: :0
OpenStars, Spez is a zero alright:-P
phantomslave, I saw the tweet from slicedlime and was absolutely shocked! I wonder if we'll see more companies following suit?
gk99, That's actually pretty crazy. Is this the first major official team to bail on reddit because of these changes? And such a hugely popular subject, too.
OpenStars, I think most are still waiting it out, like r/Firefox is still shut down tight from the protest, perhaps hoping for a reversal or at least getting to the July 1st deadline.
