@ai6yr My wife was raised in the GDR. While she’s not a Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens hard-core atheist, religion is simply something she didn’t grow up with or has any connection to. On a good day, I’m a elapsed Catholic. Religion has never been an issue between us. Sometimes, just to mess with her though, I’ll change the channel to those TV evangelist/prosperity gospel guys while she steps out of the room or gets distracted by something. Then I sit back and wait to see how long it takes for her to notice for the fun to start. She can’t stand those types of people. Completely flips out and starts ranting and raving how they take advantage of people and etc. it never gets old…
@ai6yr There have been many other "mega church" pastors who have done the same and will do the same; only difference here is crypto. Religion itself is a scam.
@miah The distance between "door to door salesman" and "missionary" is not very far, and neither is "used car salesman" and "pastor", in many cases, which is rather unfortunate.
