The National Inquisitor newspaper is full of juicy, humorous news! 📰 🐿️
It also contains a number of clues to help players progress through the game 🔍
I can't remember if it was translated in the French version. I think it was just the game and the manual (translated and distributed by Ubi Soft in France)

The guide also lists all the objects in the game (where to find them and where to use them), the maze map, the connections between each airport and Zak McKracken's notebook.
@Gamrok@DavidBFox@grumpygamer when talking about that game, I here many people say that it’s “not that good” - but to me, as it was also the first adventure game I’ve ever played - it’s always been both a great game and gaming history!
I didn't want to spoil the surprise but I am that much of a fan I literally had commissioned goldfield custom pieces for both Zak McKracken and Maniac Mansion so I can make a necklace with it
I am still waiting to hear from the shop about them, but can't wait to show my one and only Zak Mckracken necklace!
@DavidBFox@bobbytoni@Gamrok@grumpygamer@Zak883@sayomgwtf It's also one of the few instances where a translation of a term is better than the original. I played it in German first on the C64, and later in English on the PC. I was so disappointed that the alien was not called "Besen-Wesen".
It offsets the untranslatable monkey wrench joke from MI2.
