Built a Small Offsite backup machine! What to run on it? (lemmy.world)
As the title says, i recently printed a nice case for my RPi3 and HDD that intend to run as an offsite backup machine....
I replaced 12x 12v batteries in my UPS stack this weekend and ONLY insta-welded two connectors. (lemmy.world)

PFSense: Can't ping physical devices on network, but can ping virutal machines? (lemmy.world)
So, I am running ProxMox with PFSense virtualized on it, and I am having some issues with SSH and Ping access between my physical machines and the rest of the network. The two computers are running into an unmanaged switch before then connecting to the NIC port that is set as the LAN interface....

Specs are slightly in flux right now, but basically it’s an HP ML310e Gen 8, with a random HDD cage on top for 4 additional drives, and a bunch of fans zip tied to the front to cool the 6 internal drives. Oh, and a little 7" display stuck to the side which I’ll get a stats readout on soon....

Also will occasionally be used for transcoding using handbrake....
