Forgive the question, I have an idea of what I want to run on it (jellyfin, sonarr, etc) but I am having a hard time figuring out optimal OS to run....

Anyone still using an old Proliant Microserver as NAS? (lemmy.public.ismaelrh.com)

Despite being 13 years old, I use it as NAS with Unraid and works great. Not for computing of course, for that I have a HP EliteDesk Mini.

It's been sitting here frozen like this for a really long time, hours actually. I'm trying to install Lemmy on my raspberry pi. The terminal hasn't moved at all in hours, but the mouse will nudge a little after like a minute of lag. Is it frozen in a broken way? Or should I just try and leave it for the night?

Issues with Kemp LoadMaster (lemmy.world)

Hey, I'm hoping someone can help me out with an issue I keep having with Kemp Loadmaster....

I setup a Friendica instance earlier in the week. Turns out the DNS queries had increased somewhat dramatically (lemmy.fwgx.uk)

I set up friendica as my first foray on to the fediverse. It worked well, but as it turns out doesn't work that well with Lemmy, which was my main usecase. Well whilst trying to fix DNS issues setting up a Lemmy instance instead, I noticed my DNS logs were rather full. My Unbound DNS was getting 40k requests every 10 mins to...
