slazer2au,

You want to know something even better? The Microsoft cloud platform known as Azure is running more Linux virtual machines then Windows virtual machines.

davidgro,

I’m reading this on a handheld computer running Linux (Android) which sends notifications to my Linux powered watch (Wear OS) and about to watch TV from a Linux powered dongle (Chromecast) networked to my Linux powered Wi-Fi router.

So yeah, pretty much for me.

M500,

Yeah, even apple’s iCloud use Linux. Well I’m not 100% sure on that, but what else would they use?

The only thing that does not run on Linux are windows and Mac computers, android, game consoles, and maybe digital things that are about as powerful as a thermometer.

Almost everything else is Linux.

I know there are other systems, but they are a much smaller percentage than Linux.

BSD (FreeBSD, etc. Not including Macs here). They're not, but it's still a potation viable option.

Android is Linux of course. And PlayStations, for the last several generations, use BSD.
