I was just thinking about this the other day. I came across a live stream on YouTube showing a city street. You couldn’t identify anyone, but it made me think how none of those people probably realized they were being watched.

It’s troublesome that people don’t know who could be using face scanning technology, where it’s being used, and what purposes they could be using it for.

People need to assume, that if they’re in public, they’re being recorded. In private, they should have every right to privacy, however.

I like how you have put it. That it’s not “People should assume” but instead “People need to assume”. The difference means to me that it’s not the “right” thing but the necessary one, and I agree with that
