I have a feeling the #Threads/federation conversation is somewhat important but, sadly, I am absolutely at sea when it comes to understanding the different positions.
Like, is it that Threads is like the big loud highrise development that's moving into quaint Rockridge and bringing all sorts of shenanigans (like more traffic, sucking up all the parking, more SF tech bros and overpriced ramen) that the current residents will hate?
Or is it that the big loud highrise development moving into Rockridge is a Trojan Horse hiding something that is meant to replace all the quaint craftsmen bungalows with big ugly mirrored highrises?
