Has bluesky ever changed their stance on "FUCK the fediverse we're making our OWN fediverse HAHA!!!" bullshit?
Because love or hate #threads, it seems to have instantly made bluesky irrelevant outside of being a tiny instance of already famous people.
I don't see how they go from here without at least leveraging mastodon. They needed to go public a minimum of 1 month ago if they wanted a chance with a walled garden.
@SwooshyCueb Yeah they seem to have fucked up and assumed nobody else would move in before they got done.
The sorta-interesting moderation feature (which honestly doesn't sound like it'll work well IRL) doesn't exist in masto and would probably need to be totally removed to actually federate
