If every trans person vanished tomorrow, every single transphobic troll mocking trans women online would just keep doing the exact same thing to cis women and other minority groups.
@rooster Why do you generalize and assume? That is the issue that creates people who are now forced to choose. In that sentence you categorize people and no wonder if these people then want to fulfill your assumption. I'm an egalitarian and I believe that everyone can have a redemption arc. You just got to reach out at the right time.
@iaruffell@rooster You are putting words into my mouth. As Kristofer Goldsmith said on stripping away benefits from radicals, it's understandable but we can't force these people into more a desperate situation. You have to understand that this is like Waco but socially. They think their group of people are being forced into something, and with the "in the face" and so much talk about lgbtqa++, (and the things I've heard), is making skeptic people more radical.
@rooster@iaruffell Well, if you don't want to step away and look at the broader image, or want to understand the both sides, then I guess, you will just live in neglect and wonder your whole life the same questions.
Very insightful. And is exactly what the ultra-right wing, religious fanatics did before hating trans people became a thing.
Terms as feminazi, maneater,` etc were a thing in the nineties with Limbaugh and its ilk.
@rooster If all trans people disappeared tomorrow, the trolls would insist different people were trans and nothing about the trolls would change. "Transvestigation" is already very much a current idea among those idiots.
