Last month, approximately 700 high school students, plus teachers, librarians and other educators from across WA participated in three in-person MisinfoDay educational events hosted at UW Seattle, WSU Pullman and WSU Vancouver.
Information literacy skills aren't just for high school students. Adults can learn (or re-learn) important skills around factchecking and vetting sources and claims.
On Tuesday, April 25, 4-6 p.m. (Pacific), we're presenting, with our statewide partners at the WSU Murrow College of Communication, a special "Mini" MisinfoDay virtual event with a series of short talks and workshops.
