I've known people who hide cash in their lps. I wouldn't recommend it, too risky..

A few years ago, I found $1,000 in cash inside a Wagner box set.

It's funny, having found the money, I felt more obligated to make sound fiscal decisions with it. I used it to buy a dishwasher, and then I gave some of it to someone who gave me their Weimaraner (my wonderful dog George), and i donated the rest to charity. Good investments all around.

@benthos @icastico @vinylrecords in our house, we called it the "ornette fund" & used it to pay off one of my partner's outstanding debts, purchase a decent amp for myself, then go to florida for a week (with enough leftover to scoop a whole bunch of LPs & mail them home).
