Starting Sunday off with an extremely underrated STP album.
Although they were pretty much done being a regular touring act due to Scott’s “issues” (I was lucky enough to see them three times), they were still able to make really great studio albums, of which I think No. 4 is the last TRULY great one.
It’s a great balance of early raucous STP (Down) and the more moody textural material (Sour Girl, Atlanta). #vinyl#vinylrecords#90s#90smusic
@Whiskeyomega I have all of them, and my pressings of each album sound fantastic so I would never need to re-buy them myself.
However, they ARE in desperate need of a reissue so that they’re readily available for people.
You’d think that any album that’s sold over a million copies would be readily available.
@TheVinylApe The core pressing i just got another world. Its like listening to the album for the first time all over again. My best sounding vinyl. Even people on discogs that seemingly have every pressing say this AP one is the best. Id be interested on your take if you ever hear it. The only thing that came to mind when listening was it was like having your soul rattled.
