Anyone use the ActivityPub plug-in on their Wordpress site?
I'm having problems with the plugin on mine. It only partially works.
You can discover the site profile through mastondon/etc. and send a follow request, but that's it. The follow requests/approvals don't ever go through. It just hangs indefinitely.
The site is a newly installed/bluehost hosted site using the Cue theme.
I've also added the webfinger and nodeinfo plugins as well just to see if that would make a difference, but no dice.
@Joe I was never able to really get it working even on a paid Wordpress.com site. Moving to micro.blog became the easiest answer for me. $10/mth with five full sites and unlimited single page sites.
@dan@Joe since Automattic is owning/funding the plugin now, it is no longer a handled as a hobby/spare-time project and we constantly improve the Automattic infrastructure to play nicely with the plugin. So if you have some recent issues, please let us know!
