fiat_lux,

Reducing anti-Nazism to pro-Judaism or pro-Israeli is a spit in the face of all the people who fought to keep themselves, their families and their neighbors out of the extermination camps. Including Jewish and any of the other groups targetted by the Nazis and their allied regimes. The Nazis also systematically committed genocide against civilians who were Soviet, Slavic, Polish, Orthodox Christian, Romani, disabled, Communists, non-straight-cisgendered people, the 'asocial' and anyone else they thought they could remove from their precious ethnostate and it's desired borders.

No majority demographic of any state gets a free pass on genociding marginalised communities. Even when that ethnostate was created from the remains of a genocided marginalised community. I'm anti-Nazi because I'm anti-genocide and pro-peaceful-human-coexistence. Not because I have any position on Jewish genetic heritage, Abrahamic religions, Israeli identity.

The non-Jewish victims, anti-Nazi fighters and especially the Righteous Among the Nations do not deserve to be erased by reductionism.
