There’s more people in China 1.4B and India 1.4B each individually than in all of Europe 740M. It is not surprising. I’m more surprised it didn’t sell to India much at all before 2022.
This has always surprised me honestly. The global north seems to underestimate just what a huge market that India could be for any product or service based on population size alone.
I was also disappointed in the decision from India to start purchases after the war began, but I suspect that it was more of an economic than a political decision.
Based on username I presume you are speaking from experience and didn’t like it. In any case it was more the giving of money to a genocidal maniac that bothered me.
India never stopped trading with the West, despite them consistently being genocidal maniacs, so I’m not sure why you’d expect them to stop trading with Russia for something a fraction as bad.
