There may be some historical reasons for Germany wanting to go soft on Jews, but this still sucks

Aceticon,

They’re just racist, same as the old days.

Racism isn’t just treating some people badly because of their etnicity, it’s also treating some other people better because of their etnicity: they’re both sides of the same coin - if you extend special treatment for some on their etnicity then logically you are treating others less well because of their etnicity.

Racism is not just the Nazi and Zionist level of activelly murdering people because of being members of specific etnicities, it can be the far more widespread and “politically correct” giving better treatment for people who happen to have been born (through no choice or merit of theirs) in specific etnicities than to people who happen to not have been born (through no choice of fault of them) in those specific etnicities.

Remember: Hitler discriminated “positivelly” for members of the Arian Race.

So, yeah, just like the German Power elites very loudly and overtly go on and on about their “unwavering support for the Jewish Nation” (it’s the etnicity of the majority of and the leaders of Israel that justifies that unwavering support for that nation, something which is straightforward racial discrimination, aka racism), more discretly they support a policing culture were beating up Muslims in “defense” of the image of said favored-because-of-etnicity nation is absolutelly fine.

Humanists would have learned “Never again!” as “Never again shall such things be done to people because of their etnicity”, but in Germany it was mainly learned within the mental architecture of racism, as “Never again shall Germans do that to Jews”, hence Germany’s “unwavering support” for what they call in Germany “the Jewish Nation” even whilst the leadership of that nation (possibly with the support of most people there) are activelly engaged in Genocide along etnic lines to a level beaten only by the actual German-commited Holocaust.

To me it seems that Germany never really evolved away from racism, it just moved a specific etnicity from the untermenschen list to the übermenschen list and started favoring the seemingly “benevolent” racism over the clearly malevolent kind.

‘We Jews are just arrested; Palestinians are beaten' Hefets says. One example was the brutal arrest of a hijab-wearing protester at a sit-in in Berlin central station this past weekend, which was captured on video and posted to social media channels.

That guy should not be arrested but straight up jailed or deported for being a propagandist inciting hatred with his obvious lies.

Nobody was beaten. A group that illegally protested on private ground (they had registered the protest in front of the train station, then did it inside) was asked to leave according to the rights of the owner again and again. Then they called the police who asked them to leave multiple times, too, and then told them they would be removed by force if necessary after multiple hours of illegal protesting. In reaction they started cuddling and interlocking arms so they could not be removed easily and got their phones ready to film some imaginary police brutality.

gnuhaut,

Hefets is not a guy and this is not a quote from her (or at least, it doesn’t seem like a quote). Or do you mean the author of the article? I can’t imagine that, because there’s not reason to think he was arrested, so why you bring up that “that guy should not be arrested but straight up jailed or deported” (wtf)?

And why would the sit-in being illegal matter over whether this is police brutality or not? In the video I see the police grabbing a woman’s face for no apparent reason (and also the face of the guy in the background) and then wrestling her to the ground and I don’t see why the police would need to do that just to get her out of there.

So you want to jail and deport people for the terrible crime of looking at that and having the perfectly reasonable interpretation that this is excessive use of force and police brutality and saying that??? Fucking hell.

Arelin,

Liberals getting mad at people breaking the shitty capitalist laws of an imperialist state will never not be funny.

This is why they always let capitalism decay into fascism, because doing something about it like rioting or, god forbid, a revolution, would break the law (😱)

“The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way: the liberal is more deceitful than the conservative.” - Malcolm X

Liberals’ reaction to the genocide in Gaza has shown once again how true this is.

Their “support” for Palestinians only extends to what is legal, and thus completely meaningless, in the countries committing the genocide (mainly the US, israel, UK, Germany). No support for armed and violent resistance, and in some cases like for this idiot not even some fucking protests because they break something as meaningless as the law in those countries.

Yeah, right. Germany committing genocide in Gaza by... *check notes* ... existing. And at the time they of course hate Israel and Jews and pay money to Palestinians. Because, hey... it's Germany. They are so evil they can be on two opposite sides of a conflict at the same time, if that's what the propaganda narrative demands.

Also you know very well that it is not about breaking some unimportant laws. They could have freely protested in front of the train station, where people can actually see them. They even registered a protest there which was permitted. Why didn't they? Oh, yeah, because it's not fitting their propaganda narrative of not being allowed to protest. So they changed the location with the sole intention to make it illegal, so they get footage of imaginary police brutality stopping them from protesting...
