#WritersCoffeeClub 25/1. Writing outside your gender/sexuality/race etc?
I do this a lot, especially in terms of writing female characters. I started #ThreeKindsofNorth intending that Jerya and Rodal would be equally prominent, but she claimed more of the limelight, and she’s the backbone character of the whole series. It’s her doing, not mine.
