In the same period of time i was very into bands that were consider in the 'gothic metal umbrella': The Gathering, Therion, Theatre of Tragedy, Artrosis, Dreams of Sanity, Moonspell, etc...in retrospective they were the gate to darker sounds and a trampoline, years later, into the goth scene.
