@Suzan@eerko Have I stumbled into a bug in #bgstats? I've created some custom saved searches with tags, and I'd like that to power an auto-filled challenge. When I try to set that up, the challenge doesn't auto-fill. See screenshots.
In this case, there should be 91 games auto-filling here.
@BGStatsApp How did you like witch draft?
Had it in my list last Essen. But many people were a little underimpressed. And it looks a little expensive for a box of cards.
Number 2 in my monthly 3x3 series, for which I played fantastic factories (which turned out to be very fun), welcome to the moon (which is also very fun, a campaign roll and write will always be welcome), and cascadia (which I already knew I liked)
On the more disappointing side, welcome to catsville is a very generic roll and write that doesn't really have anything to do with cats, so I probably won't play that again
And the elephant in the room is obviously quantum with 5 plays, we may have played it 4 times back to back at the board game cafe and then I may have spent a little bit too much on a rare copy to have at home...
As we are nearing the end of February we want to warn you, if you have the chance, not to miss a once in four year opportunity to fill in a hole in your stats: to log a play on Thursday, leap day!
My #BGStats roundup of #BoardGames played in
January. If I hadn’t been invited along to an all day session where I got 6 games in it would have been a very poor month.
New to me games
#RedRising collect cards that synergise in your hand and try to avoid your opponents doing the same. Hard to figure out what is best but we all wanted to play again.
#Planetfall tableau building game that didn’t seem to have much depth really, or maybe I just picked the right thing for an easy win.
We played a bunch of card & board games in January, between vacation + weather. Finished Artisans of Splendent Vale. Made an effort to play more Everdell and worked our way thru unplayed expansions on our shelves. The only new game this month was Pies, a casual trick taking game, which we enjoyed. #BoardGames#BGStats
Our personal top 16 most played games in January! We played some Solo games this month: Suzan got two games in the For One series: Galaktix & Kniffel and Eerko finally got to play Robinson Crusoe!
@BGStatsApp is there a Reddit or BGG forum available, where #BGStats related best practices can be asked? For example I’m keen to exchange if/how to track #Cartographers scoring cards which are used in a play. Atm I just add a photo of the scoring cards to the play. #Boardgames#Brettspiele#DerKartograph
Both Board Game Stats #BGStats and the BoardGameGeek app #BGG are now compatible* with Apple Vision Pro. Here's a short video of them running side by side in the simulator. #iOSDev#visionOS
Not sure it's practical, and I won't be testing it out on a real device anytime soon, but it's fun to see.
