Yes, watching a competitive eating challenge video is a potentially odd choice while doing a water fast...but...these cheesecakes look so good. Trying to wolf down 33 pieces of cheesecake for a total of 41,000 calories in 24 hours...maybe not. This #chocolate#cheesecake has come out interestingly different than I expected; I poked dark chocolate disks down into it before baking - when I took it out it had that flower pattern; but as it cooled it pulled apart the molten chocolate, preferntially making cracks there rather than in the cake body.
(This was made using Quark, which I'd used for the strawberry cheesecake, but hmm, I normally use Ricotta for chocolate cc and imho it's better)

Strawberry cheesecake made from cooked-down pureed strawberries, on a ginger snap crust, with a thin semi-sweet chocolate ganache glaze and a piping of chocolate whipped cream and sweetened macerated strawberries on top.
