@bignose for the crowdfunding case there may be sufficient consumer choice to effectively boycott; the list I gave wasn't exhaustive. That's contigent on creators accepting from multiple sources; many already do.

The technologist in me sees possibilities to reduce switching costs if this catches on.

Score processors on how little a cut they take and other factors. So members have a guide when deciding on their monthly or yearly subs.
