@iHarbonaut shares mock-ups with #GTW of a cancelled Super Monkey Ball game that was intended for a #mobile#J2ME release in 2006. For reasons unknown, the game seems to have been cancelled very early on and may not have got past the concept stage. https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/2024/05/super-monkey-ball/
After our recent post on the 16/8-bit editions of Bushido Warrior, remains of the #AmstradCPC version has been found and released today on #GTW, thanks to preservation efforts of Steve Brown. A neat oriental themed Gauntlet clone due for release in 1988.
Did Bitmap Brother's Gods really exist on the #PCEngine or was it merely vapourware? We add a new entry on the game within the #GTW archives and hope that over time more will come to light on it. If you know anything more - please do get in touch:
Our first Christmas update kicks off with the recovery of an #Amiga Codemasters platformer that's been lost for 30 years. #GTW is proud to present the full game of Stuntman Seymour, thanks to Ashley Hogg. We hope you enjoy it, and more to come tomorrow!
In March, and thanks to David Crookes, we added four previously unpreserved #AmstradCPC games into #GTW, including two strategy and two action games by Angela Swinbourne:
In February, #GTW preserved and released Bertie's Animal Kingdom - a late educational #Amiga 1200 release in 2000. Likely sold in very limited numbers, it was missing in action up until then. Thanks to musician Darryl Sloan, the disk version was saved:
After almost 30 years, Penguin Tower has finally been finished and released for the #Commodore64. A long journey for a great Bomberman clone that #GTW has been gently nudging the coder about finishing for some time. Thank you Jani!! ❤️
Grubz is a stunning looking Worms clone for the #Commodore64 that first appeared around 2004 time via this early preview. Sadly the game may have been abandoned, though we hope the situation changes some day, and that it escapes the #GTW vault!
