Announcement: We have welcomed into our family a NEW grand-furbaby! Isn't he a cutie?
Our son-in-law rescued him yesterday from a storm drain near his place of work. They are thinking of naming him Darby. He's already seen the vet, been tested and had his flea treatment. The vet says he's about 5 weeks old.
Pax is winding down after a long day. She managed to get her post-surgical skirt off by herself and won't let us get it back on her. But thankfully she is paying no attention at all to her incision. Good night (or good day) to you all!
Pax is sending her love to you on this #WhiskersWednesday ! Her surgery went well, she seems to be recuperating nicely, and she doesn't mind having to wear her post-surgical skirt.
Our baby Pax had her surgery and is home now. She seems to be doing well. The vet introduced us to something new: no more cone of shame! They use a cloth "skirt" that attaches to her collar and can't come off. The skirt allows her to easily eat, drink and go potty, yet keeps her from getting to her stitches.
I must say that today is not an especially happy day for little Pax. It's the day she gets spayed. We dropped her off at the vet's early this morning. Hopefully all will go well and we'll be able to pick her up in the late afternoon.
