The connection between #MarieCurieSchool & #MeoVac began in 2021 when the school planted 20,000 cunninghamia trees in #KhauVai.

In 2022, the school opened online English lessons for 2,600 Meo Vac 3rd graders - to continue until elementary school completion.

Meo Vac shares 41+km of border w/China.
The population is approx 100,000, comprised of 17 #EthnicGroups, mostly #Hmong people.
It's on #Vietnam's list of 74 #PoorestDistricts.
