So, you know you have a good day when both teams you support end up winning their respective games. That's what happened a few minutes ago when my #lakers won by 3 against the #Clippers and my #Rams beat the #Niners. It's a great way to end a day.
I think the #Lakers season was better than most folks do. It was a late-gelling team for many reasons, injuries being a large part. Going from what, 13th, to where they ended suggests to me they need some young blood for early games & bench. It wasn't a terrible end. I remember Kobe on a struggling team for a while.
I'm more interested in what the #TrailBlazers do with the 3rd pick than in picking the petals off a late bloomer that came up against the weed whacker that is #Denver this year.
The #Lakers and #Nuggets have been battling all game, nip and tuck, in Los Angeles. 100-98 #Denver. I've not seen a lead over 3 points either way since I've been paying some attention.
I have #FS1 on mute today on my #TV in my room and it's funny that the #Lakers beat the #Pelicans 133-89 and the chryons are ablaze with #Lebron's stats, about how he scored 30 points in the game...completely ignoring that without him on the court they still would have won 103-89.
I don't know much about the state of the #NBA today, but this says to me that either the #Pelicans are bad, or the #Lakers as a team are so good that they didn't really need #Lebron in order to win here.
Hard to imagine the #Lakers having a better first quarter or the #Warriors a worse one. Golden State is lucky to only be down 10 at the moment. #NBAPlayoffs
