Sad Mac moment... This drawing was inspired by "Brotherhooves Social" which has such a fanatic ending that no one ever seems to talk about. This was also the first time I drew Big Mac I believe, so there's that.

Decided to draw pear horse today. I got myself some new ink and a new brush that I really wanted to test out, so I made this. Also got to use my markers again... which turns out also cause my new ink to smudge... so I guess I also learned that today
#mlp#nightmaremoon A commission from several years ago. This one is a 15" x 22" picture done in colored pencil, marker pen, technical pen, and at the end some white gouache paint. The working surface is Strathmore 500 Series Vellum Bristol Board.
I am particularly happy with how the moonlit clouds came out. I put a lot of thought into how I was going to do them, and I tried some new techniques which got me the results I was looking for. I'm hoping the technique will also work during daylight pictures. It's not faster, but it gives much more satisfying results than older techniques have.
