Finally the efficacy of the Mastodon filters clicked for me yesterday.
Training myself to not click on those shrunken filtered lines out of a misplaced fear of missing something that might be really important was the key. Or, maybe, the filter was catching something I didn't intend it to. Or...so what.
Much better now.
Maybe I'll get back to those toots later. Maybe I won't. It's all OK. #NotSoDeepThoughts
