If end-stage capitalism has a motto, it's this: "Stop hitting yourself." The great failure of "voting with your wallet" is that you're casting ballots in a one party system (The Capitalism Party), and the people with the thickest wallets get the most votes.

Then there's #KKR, one of the most rapacious predators of the PE world. Half of the investors in KKR's #GlobalInfrastructureInvestorsIV fund are public sector pension funds. Those workers' money were spent to buy up #Refresco (#ArizonaIcedTea, #Tropicana juices, etc), a transaction that immediately precipitated a huge spike in on-the-job accidents as KKR cut safety and increased tempo:
I go to #PetSmart for #dog food and other dog-related products, but I would NEVER use their secondary in-house services, like #Banfield#veterinarian, or their grooming and boarding services. They have a long history of hiring incompetent and inexperienced workers, and have literally killed a shit load of pets in their care. And they ALWAYS deny it, and act like it's a big joke. Reputable providers cost a little more, but the peace of mind is well worth it.
