Everyone said #PokerFace was a good TV show, but I wouldn’t subscribe to another service for one show. I saw the first season DVDs discounted and I bought ‘em.
Everyone was right! Poker Face is a really well-made show. Moreover, it’s fun.
Ep 6 of #PokerFace, starring Ellen Barkin as an actress of a certain age. I remember reading that Peter Falk made a point of hiring actors that were considered past their prime, as his small way to combat ageism in the industry, so it's nice to see that Columbo theme continued too.
I was delaying watching the final episode of #PokerFace because I didn't want it to end, plus I was slightly afraid it would be Severance bullshit all over again.
It's a really nice finale. Works whether there's a next season or not. Some incredible humanity in it, particularly from guest star Clea DuVall.
All the uber wealthy & celebrities are free basing the #virion laden air.. why can’t you just do it too?
Oh & fashion week is kicking off in #NYC before it goes to Europe & beyond🙄 #ba286 might be <contagious (like wtf does that even mean? Takes 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds?) but there’s zero chance it’s not going to🚀✈️in full force by holiday season #wearADamnMask
I started watching #PokerFace and yeah it’s fun but also it’s basically just, “What if we did Monk but it’s a cool woman instead of a man suffering from OCD?”
We finished watching #PokerFace tonight, which can be found on NOW tv and SKY.
We really enjoyed it. It had a nice old skool vibe to it, like Columbo and the old Incredible Hulk show (no there is no Hulk in it, but Banner was always moving from city to city on the run).
'Poker Face' with Natasha Lyonne is really good - massive amounts of charisma, nice retro vibe. It's providing comfort in a post-Succession post-Barry world.
