I think this fits the theme? Many years ago I played banked track roller derby and we all had fun unique skate names, mine was V Sixx. At the begining of the bout (game) we would have songs we'd skate out to around the track. Mine was #MotleyCrue Kickstart My Heart 🤘🏻🖤🛼
For this week's #TuneTuesday, you'd think I would have already thought about #RingWalkSongs, since I actually do combat sports, but, y'know, I haven't. In this fantasy scenario, am I doing UFC or Kickboxing, or am I a pro-wrestler? I'm going to have to take time to consider appropriate entrance music for both.
This week’ #TuneTuesday prompt is #RingWalkSongs , songs you’d choose to walk out to a boxing or similar ring. I’m not huge on combat sports, but as I understand it, what you’re looking for is an immediate vibe and some sort of high drama moment in the first 30ish seconds. Accordingly, I was on the fence in the end between this song and Atramentus’s Stygian I. Ultimate deciding factor was Stygian I was already on my tune tues playlist.
In the Dojo I go to there used to be a Sensei who was a metalhead. He used to play music during sparring and it was always great. It took me quite a while to gather enough courage to recommend an addition to his playlist, and he sadly left soon after. This was my recommendation, and my contribution to #TuneTuesday 's theme of #RingWalkSongs :

If I'm coming out into the ring (which will never happen), my ring walk music is going to be one of two options - ridiculously hype or off the wall unexpectedly weird.
For Tune Tuesday by @Kitty, the theme is Ring Walk Songs from @sharazluke. Basically its the theme song you want played as you walk to the boxing ring.
As I am more in to pro-wrestling than boxing, I'll think of it that way. lol
The song I'm choosing is actually the song I used as my created wrestler theme in WWE Raw 2 on XBox since you could import music in that game.

When I was kickboxing, my favourite training track was a heavy mix of Lady Gaga's LoveGame, and I think that would be a kickass ring walk song.
Some mooching around YouTube informs me that is the official remix with extra backing vocals by Marilyn Manson. (I only had the album version at home.)
So, retrospectively: eeew, but in my defence, it was before we knew Marilyn Manson was that fucking gross and sketchy. (Though we had a pretty fucking good idea, which is why I didn't listen to him in general. Also because I was more kvlt than that.)

I have a past as a kickboxer at competitive level. During an outdoor exhibition match, the organization requested us a song before entering the ring. Ok, that is a bit philistine as a thing, but I had fun.
For one of that evenings, I chose this track from Fear Factory for my entrance.
This may be a little on the nose, but I remember loving this song when I was a kid on the school playground, which isn't all that different than a boxing match... ;>)
