air travel with a #fountainpen : i have a trip scheduled in the near future to a conference in Salt Lake City, #SOTMUS2024 - and i expect to take a pen or two with me. the feeling i'm getting is that the thing that works with converter pens and piston fillers is to travel with them filled, or at least with the piston positioned where there is little or no air left in the reservoir. opinions?

@seav data modeling is like, seriously hard. i'm working on some #openhistoricalmap stuff right now and cross linking to wikidata and it can get pretty messy. hope to have some results to report at #sotmus2024 this summer. #openstreetmap i submitted talks already so i really would like to have results.
I'm proud of the quality of #OpenStreetMap in #SLC that we as a small community have been able to achieve. We have mappers specializing in transit, POI, crossings.. Truly amazing. We want to be able to present the best map possible to our #SOTMUS2024 visitors! Why not help out?
