Windhover Hall at the Milwaukee Art Museum is a must-see attraction. The hall features a stunning 90-foot vaulted glass ceiling, creating a breathtaking view. Visitors can enjoy this area of the museum without purchasing a ticket. It's the perfect spot to admire the architecture.
It was a beautiful day when we visited the Milwaukee Art Museum. The winds were high so the wings were closed. The Burke Bris Soleil (designed by Santiago Calatrava) is a moveable sunscreen on top of the art museum. If the wind speeds reach 23 miles per hour or more, the wings will automatically close.
