I want to get a new graphics card in anticipation of the PC release of #HorizonForbiddenWest .
My screen has a resolution of 1980x1080, which I am comfortable with - I certainly don't need 4K graphics. However, I feel that my old GeForce 1080 is not enough for the latest generation of PC games.
A friend recommended a GeForce 3080 as a suitable replacement. Do you agree with this assessment, or would you recommend something else?
I'll be traveling to the US and Canada in summer 2024 for 2 months, but I will not be on "vacation" from work. I need a solid wifi connection wherever I go.
We'll be visiting some fairly remote areas where cell coverage is spotty at best (the Kootenays, rural Ontario, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). How in the world can I guarantee a wifi connection in my travels?
I have a TOTP app on my phone, rather than use TOTP in the Password Manager (feels a bit too much like single factor), but then wanting a reliable and encrypted place for backup codes, I have been putting those in the PWM... which is back to the same issue.
Before that I was just saving them in text files in my documents folder...
In 2020-2021 I wore AirPods Pro multiple hours every day, and my ears eventually started reacting to the silicone tips. I've been using some foam replacements, but they aren’t great.

My father turned up on my door step after not seeing him for over a decade, he didn't even recognise me. On that note, now looking in to security camera options. What resolution do they need to be so that you could clearly see and recognise the images? Any important features for someone who knows very little about tech and installation? Cheers.
@DustyZed 1080p aka Full HD is a realistic minimum depending on where installed. Video doorbells are worth checking out. If you're not too tech savvy with it all deffo find a local cctv installer and work with them #CCTV#TechAdvice
