If you’ve never played Destiny or you’re looking for a way to jump back in, there are lots of ways to do it.
Plenty of story catch-up videos of varying lengths. There’s 10 minutes, I think the one in-game is ~ 5-7 minutes (check the ‘Timeline’ node in upper right of the Destinations screen). My Name is Byf on YouTube just released a ridiculous 11 HOUR ULTRA IN-DEPTH lore deep dive if that’s your thing. Hell, there’s r/DestinyLore. You got options.
Seriously don’t worry about your gear. Everything you have has just been upgraded to 1900 Light Level. There’s a ton of great stuff available and any must-haves are easy to get.
Yeah Destiny still has warts, but what doesn’t in this universe? There’s never been a better time to jump in. If you want, I will personally tutor you through it. I’m chill, friendly, and patient. I love this game and I bet you will too.
