Probably the longest shot ever, but in the 2000s when I was learning to #TouchType, I used a piece of software called Azabat. I'm not sure which version it was, but the specific installation I had used SAPI 4 Microsoft Mary. After completing a typing lesson, it would say: 'Well done, exercise completed. Returning to exercise menu'. It had menu options like 'Echo mode' and 'Introduction' to new keys'. Has anyone heard of or used this software, this version specifically, and is there an archive of it available anywhere? #blind#typing#Azabat#TouchTyping
I'm not saying I want a typing tool with exactly my QMK-layout on my#ErgoDash (even though...), but at least something that would teach me #touchtyping with a split #MechanicalKeyboard layout.
I know about Keybr, Colemak Club and some others.
Till now only Colemak Club is also orthio-based, but I first want to learn normal QWERRY... No one with split layout?
#TouchTyping failure modes - while my typing skills are pretty informally learned, they're generally fairly reliable. But the most common failure mode seems to be the two hands getting out of sync with each other, so (eg) I'll get the left-hand's letters of a word before, or overlapping with, the right hand's. Is this a common failure mode or #isItJustMe?
Allez, je me relance sur un mois de pratique sur https://monkeytype.com/ , histoire d'améliorer ma frappe sur clavier.
objectifs : utiliser les dix doigts, faire moins de miss sur mon clavier, avoir une frappe moins 'lourde'.
I ordered a #MechanicalKeyboard and also want to learn #10Finger#typing. I already can do #TouchTyping with my own system with a variable amount of fingers that I internalized the past decades. But learning 10 finger typing is like learning to walk again 😓
