A new adventure painting, from our first visit to Muir Woods, a truly magical redwood forest just north of San Francisco. We were there in the late afternoon, and found it low in crowds and high in light rays 😍
I'm still obsessed with lighthouses so here is another one! This time I tried to go with a different mood so I used mostly earth colors. Despite being worn out over time, this tower is still standing gracefully. :BlobHajMlem:
I wanna put focus on the green color I used. As in one of the earlier paintings it's green apatite genuine by Daniel Smith. I'm really amazed how many different objects you can pull off with it.
Many people say that it's difficult to mix it with other colors, which is technically correct. But it works very well with any kind of lemon yellow. So you can get those beautiful greens glistening in the sun.
