Lowkey: you can use #throwaway email addresses, like 10minutemail, to sign up for that free account. No need to reveal your real address, create as many as you need. And secure those with a TOTP 2FA.
Backdooring the encryption is a concern, of course, so you can GPG the files before uploading. Just saying.
So, I'm all about using less plastic (that breaks easily and pollutes). I own a wood and metal toilet paper holder (similar to this one) that's outlasted anything plastic.
