SOLD - Future Fragments Study by Terrill Welch 10 x 8 inch acrylic and oil on gessobord Artist notes: I walked and wondered about what will remain as future fragments to rebuild upon? Will there be another fragile sense of wholeness and interwoven harmony? What did it feel like then? What does it feel like now? Are any bits reusable? Jagged sharp edges of paint cross the abstract painting softened by curved lines and shapes. The painting ranges from warm to cool colours with the hint of a bird or angle shape.
Two paintings are shown with a representational painting of a Venice allergy on the wall and a smaller abstract painting on the bottom right sitting on an easel stand at the corner of a desk where an art book also rests. The two oil paintings by Terrill Welch have a similar palette despite the different painting approaches. There is the back of a chair showing in the bottom left inviting the viewer to sit for a while with the artwork.
