@pfefferle the Shooting Star by iYoYo could be a great fit for you. It can be set up as responsive or unresponsive, and it comes with a online tutorials. https://www.yo-shop.de/Package-Deals/Beginners-Set-SHOOTiNG-STAR::591.html

Responsive yo-yos are the ones that come up with a quick tug. Most yo-yos these days are unresponsive, which requires learning how do a "bind". Once you learn how to bind, everything becomes much easier. This can be set up for either style.

I posted a short interview with Miguel Correa about his history in yo-yoing, what he loves about 5A, and a quick tutorial of Tunnels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6eZh_0Ln6I

Yoyofactory are doing their annual A-May-Zing sale all month. Each day are new deals. As far as unresponisve suggestions, I like the Edgeless a lot. If you buy an unresponsive yo-yo, you'll need to know how to bind, which isn't difficult to learn. If you are looking for a classic responsive yo-yo, the Arrow might be a good fit.
If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up and I'll try to help. I don't work for YYF and haven't used most of these models.
