My new PC. Beelink SER5, Ryzen 5560.

16gb Crucial memory and an Intel wifi/bt module underneath the m2(which is unbranded). There is also a 2.5 SSD mount in the case.

Fan is very quiet in normal use, but whines a little when gaming. The speeds are controlled in BIOS.
The systems using around 10-15w desktop and 25-35w gaming.

It shipped with a reasonably clean Win11 install, but I have wiped the drive and installed Debian12.5 in Efi mode. All hardware correctly detected.

I’ve got my Amiga 1000 setup today with something special. This is the Frame Grabber from Progressive Peripherals and Software (PP&S) and it’s a video frame digitizer that connects to the Amiga over the parallel port. It can create images up to 640x480 in 4096 colors, which was a big deal in 1990.

Progress on my new #Amiga CD32! By cranking up the laser power a smidge, she went from only reading a few Audio discs to reading all of them, and booting CDTV titles! Next up - test burned discs!

Huh. I guess I just bought a #Amiga CD32... I sent the guy an offer and next I looked it was marked as "Sold" - never got a response back. Went about my business and then noticed money withdrawn from my account! Apparently he agreed to the price and I was not notified! 🤣🤣
It's a PAL unit, it boots but he tried an audio CD and got no response. He had no CD32 disks to test. Hopefully it is a simple fix. Time to upgrade the daylights out of this girl!

Revenge has been taken on me by my friend Chris at AmiWest this year. I walked back to my booth and found this... Last year I had created the "Atari Storage Unit" sign on a trash can next to his Atari Falcon.
