Today has been amazing. This morning, I got to cheer on my son in his varsity debut, the first of two games. We weren't sure what to expect for playing time, but he got in for a third of the game and looked good.

Then, home to see my beloved Liverpool FC score a dramatic late winner. Let's go!

Then back out for the second varsity game. My son played half the game or better, looked excellent and scored a stoppage time game-tying goal. I'm not ashamed to say, I cried tears of joy. Let's go!!!

I get all my football opinions from newspapers and their websites. Manchester City are awesome and clearly just parading towards the league title. There's no way can possible pull back the defecit of minus-five points, plus City have also scored minus-two more goals than Liverpool and conceded minus-two less.

@mike @vruz one thing that has surprised me is the lack of people linked to the managers job. I really thought the papers would be spraying all manner of 'inside source' and 'rumoured' names out, yet the focus seems mostly on with the occasional Frank or De Zerbi mention.

Salah is my MOTM, but the whole squad was excellent.

Particular shout out to Gravenberch, who was really good and needed to be. He’s struggled for consistency, so a solid performance was nice to see.

Well done to Kelleher, who looked far more stable. Unlucky on the rebound goal, but made a couple of fine saves.

Having Endo and Mac Allister working in tandem is a gift. They put out so many fires, but both are so very good at finding forward passes for those lightning counters.
