Google got rid of the dislike count on videos for a reason, holding content creators accountable is absolutely what should be done. It’s horseshit to think that content creators shouldn’t be accountable for the sponsorships they take.
So, in other words, you want the Palestinians to just die, huh?
No, I don’t. Biden isn’t doing anything to stop it anyway. I want something to vote FOR rather than just voting against something I don’t want. Biden is not earning my vote right now.
It’s absolutely insane that we would protect corporations from public competition. Restricting public options is absurd, just another example of why things have gotten so shitty and expensive. It’s absolutely apparent that our government is controlled by big money corporations.
I will consider this for v4, although I’m still torn on whether that’s a good idea. It would give religious entities a direct reason to influence politics even more. Any good reasons to the benefit other than more tax revenue?
Corporations want the cheapest solution. AI is the cheapest solution for many existing human job positions. Who will pay the humans for their inferior services?

New London police interviewed only candidates who scored 20 to 27, on the theory that those who scored too high could get bored with police work and leave soon after undergoing costly training
Yea sure, because they could get “bored”. What you really mean is because they could start asking questions and potentially start changing the way things are typically done.
Is one supposed to upvote posts that they dislike (as if it were “opposite day”), to show it’s unpopular? Or is the goal to get as many downvotes as possible to demonstrate the unpopularity? It would be nice if the community info included expectations for voting on unpopular opinions.
Nah, I like the conflict as to whether people upvote based on whether they agree, or upvote based on whether they disagree. I’m just waiting for the ability to sort by downvotes and controversial because that’s where the fun stuff will be.
