I don't know, If should continue with my "Old man looking at "modern" metal bands" but i tried listening to #sleeptoken (because i wanted to understand the "Hype ") and, well... Yesterday a music YouTuber #bradleyhallguitar released a Video what he thinks about them and i'm with his thoughts about them:
They are boring. Something ,in German it's called, "beliebig" in their sound.
What's your opinion on that?
And what "modern" #metal bands you would recommend?
@Banur I agree - they are not really exciting in my opinion, too. Except for a few songs. For example "The Offering". I like this song esp. for the drums.
If you like Progressive Metal, maybe VOLA is for you. I think they can be considered "modern metal".

I had only a few listens and still don't know what to think about them. Some nice aspects when they have a heavy breakout. But lots of slow melodies and modern elements that are genre wise not my cup of coffee.
For now it's something to listen to in the evening when cleaning up the kitchen...
What should we do, If #bandcamp goes down into corporate hell?
How can we safe lots of indepent #musicians and give them a new space for their art?
I mean, now it's not this way, but after the last months and years of news, how companies tried to squeze every penny from artists and content creators, i'm genuinely concernd about the future of Bandcamp?
