I never really liked In Flames, mostly because of the sound of the vocals (and afterwards the change of the whole sound), but the first In Flames Album "Lunar Strain" was a great #deathmetal Album.

An obscure female fronted #thrashmetal band from the 80s. Bad Production, but also standard for underground Bands at the time.

Every now and then, there comes the discussion on the surface about the future of #metal . Some say, without the great bands (Maiden, Motörhead, Slayer etc.), who are making like a common base for lots of metalheads, the metal scene will root more in the underground or vanish. Others say, there will be new "great" bands (Like Ghost).
What's you opinion on that?

Hi, people.

I was thinking about the today theme of #ThursdayFiveList .

When I started this, the inspiration triggered from a song I was listening this morning, "The Smoke Of Many Fires" by Be'lakor, precisely. So I thought: "why not?"

Despite the fact that I'm an avid metal music listener, I always tend to choose themes as broad as possible, so every kind of music could be suitable. After all, one thing that makes music beautiful is to know ways to interpret sound that are unknown to us.
