Because of course you want to listen to Finnish-language sludgerock, here's Kantamus from Helsinki with their 2022 EP "Sun paras ei riitä koskaan" (or something like "Your best is never enough" in English).
They are Vertebra Atlantis, with their hard-to-classify take of metal. A bit of black, a bit of death, a bit of progressive... they doesn't seem to have a limit.
Following a thread in my search for some "lost media" of a band from my hometown, I ended up in a Youtube channel full of music from Granada. I clicked around a bit and ended up finding this beauty! ❤️🔥

For @Banur's #RegionalRiffs I would like to promote a band from my hometown again. For me Demorphed is a very straight #DeathMetal band but with diverse song structures so that the albums never bore me. For their first full length album they even used a photography that I took. I'm very proud of it. ☺️

This week's research for @Banur's #RegionalRiffs led me to death metal band #ENDSEEKER from Hamburg, Germany. For some reason I never heard of them before, but funnily enough they released their fourth album 'Global Worming' yesterday. And this album is a real banger... full of intense and infectious earworms 🪱🐛

For @Banur 's #RegionalRiffs , here's a band from Bologna, named In Tormentata Quiete (translated: "In Tormented Stillness").
They are an avant-garde metal band with so diverse influences that it's impossible to classify. But all of them live smoothly and flawlessly into their sound.
All sung in Italian.
Unfortunately, they split-up one year ago.
But luckily, their music remain.
Today for #RegionalRiffs from @Banur I want to show you a band from my hometown where I lived most of my life. Gefrierbrand with my favourite song Fabula Realitas. Most would call them a #deathmetal band but they prefer #darkmetal They have German lyrics about war and death but especially on their second album fused with german tales and legends. Last song on Weltenbrand is about the destruction of my hometown in WW II.
Last week I discovered CRYPTOBIOSIS from Hamburg, playing some nice death metal. All of their albums on bandcamp are free downloads. Their latest album, Chainsaw Crucifixion (2021), is not there.
