Not sure it will work, at least soon, as not all Desktop add-ons work on Android. Also I feel like some add-ons are useful on Android while not on Desktop and vice-versa.
I have yet to see this work most of the time on Desktop, so I don’t know about Android.
Edit: formatting reset the ordered list index to 1 even though it started at 2
Now that the hype’s died down for the game, what’s everyone’s opinions about the game? Personally, I’m having more fun with it than I have with most other FPS games.
I only played a couple hours yesterday, something like 5 games.
I like the gameplay: it’s relatively simple and for once my skills are not too shitty.
It seem to require quite a bit of cooperation and unfortunately, as I don’t have my group of friends anymore, I ended playing with randos which led to inconsistent games: one game I had a great team, the other we were too scattered to win.
Finally, I have to play a little bit more to form an opinion, but I’m afraid that the gameplay will be a bit too repetitive for me.
Story’s good but I found the gameplay lackluster: platforming wasn’t particularly exceptional and the combats felt too repetitive and absurdly hard near the end.
What are you using GitHub on your phone for? The mobile Web UI is good enough for most use-cases, I’m not sure how an Android client would improve the user experience.
I hope this question is allowed here (since it is one of the search engines that i now use instead of google). I’m trying out Kagi. For the trial, you get to have 100 free searches, i belief. Is there a way to see how many searches i used up? I can only find stats for Kagi, not for my personal stats. How do you all like Kagi?...
The only problem is they broke the iOS Safari extension in an update a few days ago, so searches sometimes don’t use Kagi, but I’m sure they’ll fix that soon.
Without Valetudo I wouldn’t have considered buying a robot vacuum in the first place.
The software is mature and the community is available to help new users root their robots. Just do not expect it to work with random robots (stick to supported robots) nor for every feature to be supported.
You mean the breakout board? You can root with a breadboard but the breakout board is strongly recommended and there are lots of people ready to send you a kit or lend you their board.
Dennis Giese (one of the two people working on Valetudo) is sending PCBs in the US. He even created a form to request a kit: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/…/viewform
I think I might cancel. I’m not watching ads and I’m not going to pay the extra $3/mo to opt out. I don’t know if I’d end up paying more than the subscription cost in shipping though…...
Position: Experimental 6DoF tracking support with external SLAM/VIO systems is upstreamed but still being worked on. Tested with RealSense D455 and Samsung Odyssey+, Reverb G2, Oculus Rift S.
Additional Notes: HMD only, no controllers. Tested: HP Reverb, HP Reverb G2, Samsung Odyssey, Lenovo Explorer, others: maybe.
How was it a poor product? By itself, sure, there wasn’t that many VR apps sold on the Microsoft Store, but once plugged into SteamVR, it was another story. WMR offered headsets for every budgets, from the low end to the very high-end and with more flexibility than HTC’s Vive and Valve’s Index.
I’ve always flunked at math; and knowing how intertwined programming is with math, I’m skeptical of my ability to learn how to code. Can someone be too dumb to learn programming? If it helps, I’m mostly interested in learning Common Lisp.
I feel you, OP: when I started college I was afraid too that I was too bad at math for programming, but it turns out you just have to be good at logic, understanding how things work, breaking down problems and finding solutions, all of which have nothing to do with math ;)
