so I found a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Wifi, one of the few tablets that have official LOS support. the specs aren’t too bad either, 10" 2000x1200 screen, 4/64GB, 7000 mAh battery (remains to be seen in what condition); for $120 with some shitty cover/stand and dubious charger, one hell of a deal. only problem is, it can’t...
Thanks for posting! I have a Samsung S6 lite and it is so slow to boot up or do anything and there is so much bloat it’s unreal, battery lasts for like a day in standby. Think I’ll give this a shot, seems a lot nicer :)
I’ve installed it myself now and your post helped a bunch! Loving it so far, it’s much faster and I haven’t really had trouble with any google apps so far as I just install an alternative. It’s actually really easy to find APK files online these days as well :)

Wanted to say it’s pretty cool to see how fast this place has grown in just the past few days and it’s starting to really feel like what Reddit used to be in the good ol days.
Haha right? It's not worth it! But yeah, I feel like it's just a stressful way to live when the other option is to just grab a cord and plug in before falling asleep...
Hey there, I am curious what everyone is reading and how you are feeling with it. I started demon copperhead yesterday, made it about 70 pages in and decided to read the first book in the chthulu CaseBooks. It's a kinda retelling of Sherlock Holmes but with a Lovecraft quist....
Currently almost finished of Jade City and it's just interesting enough to keep me going. Very interesting take on a magic system being like a drug, but this one is mostly about political intrigue.
If you wanted a story about an alternate history Japan with drug-magic powered Yakuza clans, then this book is for you!
What are people's thoughts on shoes made to fix pronation? I used to have a pair of new balances that were supposed to help with pronation, but now that I have a new pair of shoes, my pronation has gotten worse again....
Wow, I hadn't even heard about the Twitter DMs, that's really ridiculous.
And I think federated sites like Lemmy and kbin are the future of the internet, I mean, no ads, decentralized, and I mean we were already making all of the content on Reddit so it's not like we need them for anything when we have Lemmy.
