ugh working retail this is the ‘question’ that bugs me the most. No, this customer does not actually care about how I’m feeling, they’re just continuing a shitty tradition that I want no part in. By now I just straight faced, monotone ‘I’m doing good how about you’ in hopes that they understand that I don’t care, finish the exchange and move on. On my worst days I just don’t answer.
does it really matter? as long as you passed third grade reading comprehension you can use context from the conversation to understand that the person is talking about a moving image instead of a peanut butter brand.
oh God is this me. I am known to type out complete novels to my friends, to the point I fear I scare off potential new friends because of it. Sometimes I even hit that 2k character limit on discord

yeah the price increase isn’t too awful for me. I use Spotify all the time so premium is totally worth it for me. and I know rates aren’t that high but I’m happy to know I’m actually paying the people I listen to somewhat!

I think even if users actually abstained, bots would get involved to make place look active. maybe. I don’t know how far reddits willing to go to make it seem like they’re a good platform

I tried to be an artist. I spent my whole time in general education drawing and trying to get better. It was very discouraging when it felt like it took a whole year to improve even the most minor aspects. I stopped after I graduated and haven’t really tried since. I’ve been feeling an itch to try again though, I just feel like I need to relearn everything from scratch. Cause I spent all this time teaching myself from a normal person’s perspective. And yeah, I feel like I’ve fooled everyone into thinking I’m a decent artist. Thing is my hand-eye coordination is real strong. So I’d ‘trace’ art from games I played in any attempt to learn and cause it looked good people thought I was good
